Corona Heights

Corona Heights cascades down the sunny, south-facing hill below Buena Vista Park with charming, winding roads cut into the hillside. Boasting a Walkscore® of 83 and excellent bike lanes, this charming neighborhood is ideal for strolling, bicycling and exploring. The area was the site of a quarry until 1928 when Josephine Randall, the recreation department superintendent, proposed turning the area into what is now Corona Heights. The nearby Randall Museum, though currently closed for renovation, provides exhibits, events and classes for children and adults in a park setting with spectacular city views.  The crown jewel of the neighborhood is the Corona Heights Park, where there is a playground, a dog park, and, from the top of the rocky outcroppings, panoramic views of the city.
